Description
A 17th Century Style Carved Oak Settle, 19th century. The back having a sweeping cresting rail carved with sprays of foliage above two nulled upper panels over two lozenge carved principal panels centred by daisy wheels, with wrythen whorls adorning the corners and punch-work embellishments. The arms stamped with star ornaments and resting on baluster turned posts leading down to a plank seat furbished with a swab cushion above a swept apron on baluster legs united by end stretchers, 46 (118 cm) high, 48” (122 cm) wide, 20” (50 cm) deep.
