A Group of Three Small Round Boxes and a Purse. The largest box of black lacquered papier-mâché painted with a caricature figure of a woman to the flat round lid, 3½” (9 cm) in diameter. The next painted with head & shoulders portrait of a lady wearing a bonnet, 3” (7.5 cm) in diameter. A smallest of amber plastic with woven hair panel in a gilt metal mount to the lid, 2¼” (5.5 cm) in diameter. The purse inlaid with flecks of mother of pearl, brass & white metal stringing and enclosing a blue silk interior.*
