A Fine William IV Rosewood Sofa Table. The rectangular top with rounded drop-leaf ends supported by hinged fly brackets carved with voluted scrolls. The frieze fitted with two drawers on one side and corresponding faux drawers on the other. The drawer fronts framed by raised cross-banded borders enhanced with ball & fillet beading. The round turned columnar pedestal with moulded collar above a quadriform base on scroll feet, 28¾” (73 cm) high, 30” (76 cm) wide, 38” (96 cm) long [leaves down] extending to 59” (150 cm) [leaves up].
