Description
An Early 17th Century Oak Box-seated Chair-Table with side-opening drawer (lacking top). The planked seat with turned corner posts supporting shaped arm rests/bearers with pierced peg holes to the ends for a pivoting table top. The piece standing on turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 29½” (75 cm) high, 26½” (67 cm) wide, the seat 18¼” (47 cm) high, 16½” (42 cm) deep.
