The ovoid body with star cut base, cut and polished to each side with a central star-cut boss radiating fans flanked by diamond-cut swathes below a slightly flared neck cut with flower heads edged with a wrythen fluted rim, 18” (46 cm) in height. [Provenance: Ex Earl of Shrewsbury Sale, Ingestry Hall, Staffordshire 1961].
