Stitched with verse; ‘If I could find some cave unknown, Where human feet had never trod, Yet ther I could not be alone, On evryside there would be God’, above a palace, baskets of fruit, plants, flowers and small birds bordered by an undulating red-currant garland and set in a modern pollard oak frame, 17½” x 15¾” (45 cm x 40 cm).
