A Late 19th Century Carved Treen Pipe Set. The outer case in the from of a pig inscribed ‘Glücksschwein’ [lucky pig] along the flank, with a hinge to the back and horseshoe shaped catch to the belly opening to reveal a pipe and two detachable boar’s head pipe bowls, fitted in dug out recesses above an inscription dated 1892, 2¼” (6 cm) high, 5½” (14 cm) in length.*
