The sheet metal lid centred by a roundel escutcheon with a pivoting key hole cover and key operating an intricate sprung locking mechanism displayed within. The strap hinges flanked by strap hasps incorporating padlock loops to the front either side of an ornamental domed repoussé faux escutcheon with frilled edges. 13” (33 cm) high, 23” (59 cm) wide, 13½” (34 cm) deep.
