The memento having a turned bullet shaped top wrapped in a broad brass band engraved with inscription; ”Pater Maze Junr. November 1831 Bristol Riots & Fire 29 30 31 Oct”, 3¾” (9.5 cm) high, possibly the top of a walking cane presented to P. Maze for his role in the Bristol St. riots. The mid 18th century tobacco box of long D-ended form engraved with allegorical scenes in three roundels to the hinged lid and base with copper sides in-between, 1½” (4 cm) high, 5½” x 2” (14 cm x 5 cm).*
