Description
A 19th Century Sampler worked by Sarah Child 1834, depicting figures flanking a house to the centre surrounded by trees, plants, flowers, two small dogs and a pair of cherubs holding a crown to the top, edged by an undulating red currant border and set behind glass in a black ripple moulded frame 17” x 15” (43 cm x 38 cm). And a late 18th/early 19th century Silkwork Panel embroidered in coloured threads with a pair of birds perched on a tree, with an insect to one side, set in a beaded gilt frame 13½” x 10½” (34 cm x 27 cm).
