A Rare Late 18th/Early 19th Century Oak & Elm Tripod Candle-stand with draught guard. The elm top with rounded front and an angled back accommodating a raised back board and side wings forming a draught guard. The oak square canted baluster pedestal with chip carved collar above silhouette cut out-swept legs. Fine colour and patination. 40½ in (103 cm) high, 12 in (30 cm) wide. Ex Padley Hall sale.
