A Rare 18th Century Mahogany Child’s Bureau of unusually small proportions. The sloped fall front with lip moulded edge and loper supports opening to reveal a fitted interior housing pigeon holes and drawers flanking a central bank of three small drawers with a moulded niche to the facades incorporating fanned reeding to the arch top. The three low drawers below famed by cock-beading and fitted with brass swing handles on winged back plates with conforming escutcheons. Standing on a moulded base with bracket feet 30¾” (78 cm) high, 28½” (72.5 cm) wide, 15½” (39 cm) deep.
