A Fine Early 18th Century Joined Oak Coffer. The planked top on loop hinges above a triple panelled facade, carved with a flowering plant to each panel displayed against a matted punch-work ground. The run moulded rails initialed W I G and dated 1721, The piece standing on tall channel moulded stiles, 30¼” (77 cm) high, 51½” (131 cm) wide, 23” (58 cm) deep.
