The circular top with green tooled leather insert in a cross-banded border, hinged in the centre and rising either side to reveal a fitted interior: one side with apertures for wash bowl, pots and containers, the other side with lidded compartments either side on a rectangular dressing mirror on ratchet support. The frieze having with six dummy-fronted cock-beaded drawers fitted with small brass ring handles on rosette mounts. The turned centre column with a reeded knop above three reeded sabre legs terminating on brass caps and castors, 30” (76 cm) high, 43” (109 cm) in diameter.
