Description
A Group of Miniatures: An oval silhouette painting of a portly gentleman in a rectangular black lacquered frame with pendant ring on an embossed brass crown shaped mount to the top, 6½” x 5½” (16.5 cm x 14 cm). A silhouette portrait of young gentleman in rectangular frame 4¾” x 4” (12 cm x 10 cm). Three black rectangular miniature surrounded with oval gilt brass slips and suspension rings to the top on decorative foliate cast mounts, 5½” x 4¾” (14 cm x 12 cm); one containing a watercolour portrait of a lady, one with fabric fragment woven with a cherub, and the other with a print of a 16th century portrait.
