Auguste Cain (1821-1894). A Fine 19th Century French Bronze Tazza signed CAiN. The centre boss cast with a huntsman’s bag & horn encircled by a recessed band with struck out inscription within a golden brown patinated frieze of rabbits & ferret in a continuous landscape, edged with a gold patinated rim band. The dish raised on four oak branch feet 3¼” (8 cm) high, 13½” (34 cm) in diameter.
