The silver case having a domed top with outswept corners and a flared foot, hallmarked Birmingham 1923 and stamped with Adie Brothers Ltd makers’ punch. The dial with black Arabic numeral hour marks within an outer ring of minute divisions, and a seconds subsidiary dial to the bottom. The cobalt blue enamelled faces radiating concentric wavy rings, 3¾” (9.5 cm) in height.
