A Good 18th Century Oak Bureau Bookcase. The upper section having a moulded cornice above two fielded panel doors and three shallow drawers. The interior fitted with arcaded pigeon holes over a shelf compartment and two centre incurvate drawers flanked by further pigeon holes and drawers. The base section having a lip moulded fall front on loper supports enclosing further pigeon holes incorporating a secret compartment, a central cupboard and drawer below. The chest housing two short over two long drawers with brass fittings, standing on bracket feet 85½” (217 cmn) high, 37½” (95 cm) wide, 22¼” (57 cm) deep.
