A Rare 17th Century Wrotham-ware Tyg dated 1676. The dark brown glazed red clay vessel of globular form with two bifoil handles topped with small coiled scrolls. The sides ornamented with a row of Rheinish inspired raised rosette studs around the ring turned collar above moulded medallions, initials and a date panel 1676. Eila Grahame Collector’s label to base, 5” (13 cm) high, 5¼” (13.5 cm) in diameter.
