A Fine 17th Century Child’s Boarded Oak Coffer. The lid on iron strap hinges, having a moulded front edge and decorative chip carved bands to the sides. The front board with conforming bands of chip carving along with further carving to the channel moulded top and base. Standing on stepped V-cut end boards, 19½ in (49.5 cm) high, 31ins (79 cm) wide, 15 in (38 cm) deep.
