An 18th Century ”Amsterdam Bont” Chinese Rose Water Sprinkler with silver metal mounts. The porcelain pear shaped body decorated in underglaze blue, and clobbered in coloured enamels and gilding with butterflies, flowers & foliage. The top capped by a long Persian white metal mount with bands of flowers and foliage spiralling down the neck from the finely pierced finialed top. Standing on a white metal base 8¾” (22 cm) high.
