Description
A Small Late 17th Century German Box-topped Painted Table Cabinet with scumbled exterior. The caddy moulded top having a sliding lid enclosing a rectangular box compartment edged with ripple moulding. The two cabinet doors opening to reveal an ebonised interior housing various sized drawers: The drawer fronts having recessed D-shaped break end panels with small metal knop handles, lined with printed paper and enriched with ripple moulding to the divides. The sides fitted with swing handles above a long base drawer, 10” (25 cm) high, 9” (23 cm) wide, 6¼” (16 cm) deep.
