An Antique Reliquary Stand. The glazed oval reliquary containing a tiny relic between printed paper labels inscribed ‘S. Venantii’ ‘Epise’ encircled a ring of gold sequins, and having a papal wax seal to the back. The silhouette cut stand in the form of a monstrance, the facade clad in embossed sheet metal painted gold, with a strut support to the base on a moulded bow front plinth, 11 (29 cm) in height.
