A William IV Mahogany Wine Cooler of sarcophagus form. The bevelled lid surmounted by a carved lotus bud knop on a foliate scroll mount, and having gadrooned borders. The interior lined in zinc. The tapered sides with heavy reeds rising from the base raised on carved lion paw feet, 24” (61 cm) high, 30” (76 cm) wide, 20” (51 cm) deep.
