A Fabulous 19th Century Painted Pine and Oak Wing-back Country Armchair attributed to Lancashire/Yorkshire Dales, in good original condition. The dipped cresting rail above a tapering panel back and splayed wing boards leading down to flat oak plank arms and enclosed sides. The arms’s out-swept pad terminals pierced by rectangular tenons of the chamfered front supports with a generous plank seat and ogee cut front board gouge carved with a rectangular panel, 43¼” (110 cm) high, 29” (74 cm) wide.
