A Silver Plated Heated Tureen and an Entree Dish. The round, twin handled tureen having an inner dish with gadrooned rim and tripartite divider below a raised lid surmounted by a foliate loop handle and engraved with a crest with motto; ‘Virtos in Actione Consistit, 8” (20 cm) high, 13” (33 cm) wide. The Walker & Hall entree dish engraved either side of the lid with a fleur-de-lis entwined by a snake above banner inscribed ‘Libertas’ encircled by a laurel wreath, with an oval loop handle and reeded borders, 11¼” x 8¼” (28.5 cm x 21 cm).
