A Rare English Delftware Plate, Circa 1740-1750. Probably Bristol, displaying a chinoiserie scene of two figures in a landscape within a decorative border. To the reverse of the piece has a flower bud with two leaves thought to represent the ‘trefoil rebus’ associated with Joseph Flowers of Bristol, 8½ inches (21.5 cm) in diameter.
