A Group of Painted Terracotta Garden Gnomes, probably German: Two Heissner type gnomes; one with replacement spade 11” (28 cm) in height, the other with replacement axe, 10¼” (26 cm) in height. A Heissner type gnome sat fishing (missing rod) 10” (25.5 cm) high, Another stood smoking a pipe, 7½” (19 cm) high, and the smallest holding a pot under his arm 5” (13 cm) in height, along with a hand painted sign inscribed ‘NO FISHING’ 3¼” x 5” (8.5 cm x 12.5 cm), and five miniature terracotta flower pots.
