Description
A Group of Mainly 18th Century Pottery. A Worcester Porcelain Blue Transfer-printed Mug (A/F) circa 1770-80, cylindrical, with La Peche and La Promenade pattern, crescent mark to the base 4½” (11 cm) in height. A Pair of English pearl-ware tea-bowls decorated with chinoiserie style flowers to the exteriors and trellis rim bands to the interiors,1¾” (4.5 cm) high, 3” (8 cm) in diameter. A Delft plate with a weeping willow in fenced garden of flowers to the centre panel, three large blooms flanked by scrolls of stylised foliage to the borders, edged with a yellow rim line, 9” (23 cm) in diameter. A large Delft charger painted with a scenic panel to the centre within a trellis band, and rim band of dotted squares, 13¾” (35 cm) in diameter. A tin glazed stoneware meat-plate decorated with flowers and trellis work and having serpentine edged borders, 15” x 13” (38 cm x 33 cm).
