Description
Two Early 19th Century Polychrome Delft Plates: One decorated with a pair of birds by a flowering tree and a beetle to the centre panel, with sprays of flowers and foliage to the border, initialed ‘B’ to the base, 14 in (36 cm) in diameter. The other with an urn and vase of flowers to the centre and sub panels of flowering plants to the border bridged by trellis and scrollwork, 13¾ in (35 cm) in diameter.
