Two Pietra Dura & Gilt Metal Strut Frames. One being 19th century having an oval door engraved with a wreath of foliage and mounted with an oval pietra dura panel to the centre depicting a floral sprig, opening to reveal the photograph; the elaborately pierced and engraved scrolling foliate surround with hinged strut support to the back inscribed Melliship & Harris 111 Westbourne Grove, 6¼” (16 cm) in height, 4½” (11.5 cm) wide. The other being a twin portrait frame of similar design, later in date stamped Asser & Sherwin 80 & 81 Strand London. 6” (15 cm) high, 7¼” (18.5 cm) wide.
