The tall upholstered rectangular backs covered in earlier needlework tapestry with scenic cartouches depicting figures worked in petit-point within gros-point floral surrounds. The reeded downswept arms enriched with crested sprays of acanthus, strapwork and bell flowers, with further decorative carving to the square tapering supports and shaped H-form under-stretchers. The sprung seat with olive green woollen upholstery edged in cord. 47½ in (120.5 cm) high, 25½ in (55 cm) wide.
