A Group of Four 17th Century Bronze Mortars; three with pestles. The largest cast with fleur-de-lys and having loop handles either side, 4¾” (12 cm) high, 6½” (16.5 cm) in diameter. The second also cast with fleur-de-lys to the flared sides, on a flat circular base 4” (10 cm) high, 5” (13 cm) in diameter. The third emblazoned with a Tudor rose either side 3½” (19 cm) high, 4¼” (11 cm) in diameter. The last of similar size carved with armorial ciphers.
