A Vintage Danish Rosewood Extending Dining Table and a set of eight dining chairs made by Farstrup. The table in fabulous original condition having a rectangular top tapered at each end with moulded edge, pulling out to receive two extension leaves and standing on two moulded pedestals on V-shaped legs measuring 29” (74 cm) high, 40” (102 cm) wide, 65” (165 cm) in length, extending to 104½” (265 cm). The redwood chairs with ten bar slats to the back fanned out slightly to the top below a plain cross rail. The padded seat standing on square tapering legs united by side stretchers, 37” (94 cm) high, 17½” (45 cm) in width.
