Description
A Set of Ten Spindle Back Rush Seat Dining Chairs including two armchairs, attributed to Lancashire/Cheshire Area, Circa 1800-1860. The dipped cresting rails above two rows of turned spindles between round turned uprights with nipple turned terminals. The rush seats having protective edging strips, standing on turned front legs terminating on pad & block feet and united by knopped front stretcher with plain turned stretchers to the sides and rear. The armchairs having three rows of spindles to the back.
