Description
Four Mediaeval Style Ceramic Tiles; Two russet & yellow slipware tiles; one with a diagonal cross of foliate spurs and lunette daisywheels, centred by a whorl roundel, 5 in (13 cm) square. The other with a heraldic lion rampant 5¾ in (14.5 cm) square. Two relief moulded with heraldic trellis work; one incorporating date 1598 and rampant lions, 3½ in x 5½ in (9 cm x 14 cm), the other with twin headed eagle flanked by date 1653, 4¼ in (11 cm) square.
