The tulip holder having a rectangular pyramid with four tiers of projecting flower spouts decorated in blue, green and rust glaze with flowers & foliage above a flat fronted heart-shaped chamber with scenic decoration emitting further spouts and flanked by animals mounted either side, standing on a rectangular base 18 in (46 cm) high. The plates hand painted with birds, insects flowers and foliage and having serpentine borders, 10 in (25.5 cm) in diameter.
