The centre mounted with an engraved silver-metal emblematic figure of ‘The Trusty Servant’ [adapted from a painting by John Hoskins painting that hangs outside the kitchen of Winchester College], with the motto of Winchester College (1382), and William of Wykeham (1342-1404, Bishop of Winchester (1366-1404); ‘Manners Makyth Man’ amongst scrolls of acanthus to the border incorporating the personal coat of arms of William of Wykeham to the top, (34 cm) in diameter. The knife with steel blade stamped George Butler Company Trinity Works Sheffield, with conforming motto and carving to the handle. (36 cm) in length.
