A 19th Century Hoop-back Windsor Armchair attributed to Buckinghamshire Circa 1800-1840 in the manner of a Prior chair. The ash hoop back enclosing bent ash splats forming Gothic arches, with a small turned button stud to the centre-point. The fruitwood arms above unusual shaped & fretted side splats with curved end supports either side leading down to an elm seat with scribed edging line. Standing on baluster legs united by a turned H-form stretcher, 34” (86 cm) high, 22” (56 cm) wide, the seat 17½” (44.5 cm) high.
