A Late 19th Century German Ceramic Ewer by Villeroy & Boch of Mettlach. The globular body dotted with clusters of white enamelled flower head motifs on a Prussian blue ground and surmounted by a winged harpy with ochre & olive glazed body and a upturned neck with gaping mouth forming the spout; it’s tail leading down one side of the flask and coiled around the pedestal foot, 12½” (32 cm) high.
