The portrait after a prime version from 1800 depicting the sitter, then aged 30, in the 1794 model of the Livdrabantkarens (King’s Life Guards) Uniform, with the white mitre box on his left arm, which remained in use until 1809. 30½” x 25¾” (76 cm x 64 cm).
