The 1¾” (4.5 cm) thick three plank elm top with cut in cleats each end above a carved frieze of alternated fleur de lis and daisy wheel motifs entwined in a guilloche band. The square block legs carved with portrait heads in squares above saints stood in arches, 29½ ins (75 cms) high, the top 84 ins x 34 ins (213 cms x 87 cm).
