A Set of Six 17th Century Carved Oak Chairs Attributed to Yorkshire, Circa 1670. The backs having three open arches with scalloped under-edges between two cross bars with recessed bands of carving and turned acorn finials. The uprights adorned with split spindle appliqués and housing voluted lobe-cut terminals. The plank seats in raised frames on ball turned front legs with high similarly turned front stretchers, connected to the plain rear legs with side rails.
