Each chair having a lancet arched back hoop composed of two parts, framing a long pierced centre splat flanked by side splats fret-carved with Gothic tracery. The elm seats having back-swept front corners and scribed edging lines raised on cabriole legs with pierced spandrels and united by crinoline stretchers. 40½” (102 cm) high, 24½” (62 cm) wide. The seats 17” (43 cm) high.
