A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Turned Ash & Elm Ladder back Armchair. The four decoratively turned rungs between round turned supports with nipple finials. The shaped arms on turned uprights decorated with bands of ring moulding, supporting a woven wicker seat above two decoratively turned front stretchers and pairs of plain turned stretchers to the sides and rear, 35½” (90 cm) high, 22½” (57 cm) wide.
