Description
Two 18th Century Brass Chamber-sticks: One having a moulded candle cup pierced with stud ejection hole and peened to a heavy gauge circular drip pan turned underneath, riveted to a strap handle with shell crested belt hook to the end, 7” (18 cm) high, 4¾” (12 cm) in diameter. The other example with hook ended suspension handle, of simpler design with a wrapped sheet cylindrical socket pierced by an ejector hole, centring an oval tray base, 7½” (19 cm) high, 6½” x 5” (16.5 cm x 13 cm).
