Description
A Rare, Low 17th Century Primitive Ash & Elm Turner’s Chair. The top rail chip carved with a foliate design above a tapered back splat flanked by turned ash spindles angled up diagonally to meet the top rail, with down sloped ash spindles leading down to joined with chunky chamfered block front supports. The planked triangular seat above turned peripheral stretchers, 30½” (77.5 cm) high, 24” (61 cm) wide.
