A 19th Century Sunderland Lustre Lidded Pot. The cylindrical container having strap handles impressed with punchwork stars either side and a domed lid surmounted by a knop handle, bat printed with figural scene entitled ‘Sailors Farewell’ to one side, verse to the other and garlands of flowers to the lid, clobbered in rust, yellow & green enamels with pink lustre rim bands, 4½” (11.5 cm) high, 4¾” (12 cm) in diameter.
