The rectangular box composed of thick oak slabs with through dovetail jointed corners bound with studded iron mounts incorporating a cruciform hasp pierced with a coin slot to the centre. The sides fitted with swing handles, 5¾” (15 cm) high, 7½” (19 cm) wide, 6” (15 cm) deep.*
