A Fine Quality George III Silver Teapot on Stand by Henry Chawner, London 1788/89. The oval box-form teapot with deep fluted sides, having a hinged lid surmounted by an oval ebonised knop, and an ebonised scroll crested handle with elaborately engraved borders and a vacant cartouche either side. The oval tray of conforming decoration raised on four small outswept feet. [770 g]
